After being present in the Web Summit 2012 in Dublin and arise as winners at Maastricht Entrepreneurship Week pitch contest, we were selected between more than 200 startup initiatives all around Europe to be present in the Startup Bootcamp (SBC) accelerator program in VODAFONE HQ Amsterdam.

Our product Iristrace, was a B2B app focused on making quality control audits & checklists easier, faster and more precise. Providing a digital solution in 4 specific markets: supermarkets, retail, airlines and hotels.

Daily Tasks

As Art Director and Design Producer I took take of Iristrace’s app wireframes (UI/UX) but also I created the design for the official project’s website. The program also invited 40 mentors, advisors and important business people, so we could get feedback and evolve the product according to real business needs and their Organization Breakdown Structures (OBS). I had to deal as well with communication and graphic design for meetings, pitch presentations and investment rounds working side by side with both our CEO and COO, plus working hand by hand with our 2 developers following the CTO’s instructions.

Iristrace Mobile and Tablet App has a complex interface structure specially tailored for the target market so all steps are focused on making control audits unskippable and efficient. Each conflict or situation is reported by the auditors to their central system so we built a dashboard to get in real time the global situation of the tested area. The App interface has a clean design that contains specific screens for each required functionalities and we also customized for some clients some steps into the UI for better results.
